Resmed chin strap for CPAP and respiratory masks - reducing mouth leakage
Are you happy with your nasal CPAP or ventilation mask, but keep opening your mouth during sleep?
Then the Resmed chin strap is just right for you. The chin strap reduces the opening of the mouth and thus the leakage through the mouth.
The Resmed chin strap can be combined with all standard nasal or nasal pillow masks.
Instructions for use:
The chin strap can be put on before or after putting on the mask. However, for a particularly secure fit, it is recommended that you first put on your mask and then put on the chin strap.
To do this, place the chin strap over your chin. Then place the right-hand part of the chin strap (without the Velcro fastener) under the headband of your mask. Then place the other part of the chin strap (with Velcro fastener) over the head strap of your mask. Now just close the Velcro fastener to secure both the chin strap and the headgear.
