The optional "prismaAQUA" respiratory gas humidifier is used in combination with the therapy devices of the prismaLINE / prisma VENT series for dry upper respiratory tract and breathing air that is perceived to be too cold.
Many patients suffer from drying of their mucous membranes during treatment. The consequences can be painful inflammation and nosebleeds. Often, regular use and acceptance of the therapy is then jeopardized. Heated humidifiers, such as the prismaAQUA, provide a remedy.
To avoid breaking the uniform design of all devices in the prismaLINE series, the humidifier is available in two versions:
- White for ventilators (prisma VENT series)
- Black for sleep apnea therapy devices (prismaLine series)
