Respiratory physiotherapy device Acapella® duet
for effective mucus clearance
Positive expiratory pressure (PEP) therapy is used to mobilise secretions. Acapella® duet combines the advantages of PEP therapy with respiratory vibrations to mobilise pulmonary secretions. It can be used in virtually any position. Facilitates airway opening in patients with lung diseases and secretion problems, such as COPD, asthma and cystic fibrosis. Frequency and flow resistance can be easily adjusted by turning the dial of the Acapella®. With Acapella® Duet, medications can be administered simultaneously, saving both doctor and patient time and effort. Portex® Acapella® duet is equipped with an integrated port for aerosol medication by means of a small-volume nebuliser, allowing convenient administration of bronchodilators or expectorants simultaneously with vibratory PEP therapy without the need for an additional T-adapter.
