BA-Tube respiratory therapy device for learning the lip brake.
Patients with lung diseases such as COPD, asthma or emphysema live with a constant danger of the bronchial walls collapsing during exhalation (bronchial collapse).
In order to keep the airways open during exhalation, these patients use the so-called lip brake. This involves shaping the lips in a special way and creating a resistance which generates positive pressure in the bronchi (PEP). The BA-Tube respiratory therapy device is used to learn the correct execution of the lip brake. The desired resistance can be set manually on the BA-Tube.
The BA-Tube is also ideal for performing lip-blocking in emergencies, when it is often difficult to apply what has been learned correctly. With a length of 10 cm and a weight of about 14 grams, the BA-TUBE is also very easy to carry, e.g. in a handbag.
Cleaning: boilable, disinfectable, autoclavable up to 134 degrees
