CAIRE's proprietary autoSAT feature allows the FreeStyle Comfort to deliver a constant volume of oxygen (bolus) per breath up to a maximum respiratory rate. As the user's breathing rate increases during activities such as walking, the autoSAT feature adjusts device operation to maintain a set bolus volume.

UltraSense®

This sensitive breath pulse trigger detects pressure changes during breathing and delivers oxygen as the user inhales.

autoDOSE™

If there is a prolonged pause in breathing, an alarm is triggered and the unit switches to autoDose™ mode. This feature automatically delivers oxygen at 20 breaths per minute at the flow rate set on the unit until the next breath is detected by the patient.
