WILA Chin strap

The Ottawa/Toronto chin strap is the ideal addition to your CPAP therapy and ensures a comfortable, secure fit during the night. Thanks to the elasticated material, the chin strap adapts flexibly and is very comfortable to wear. It reliably prevents unintentional opening of the mouth during sleep and thus helps to prevent dry mouth and irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat.

The chin strap is suitable for any nasal mask - regardless of the manufacturer or model - and is easy and secure to put on.

Material composition:

Smooth: 80 % polyamide, 20 % elastane
Mesh: 86 % polyamide, 14 % elastane

Application:

The chin strap is put on after putting on the nose mask and the mask holder.
- The smooth side faces the skin.
- Both cheek straps are pulled upwards and fastened to the head.
- The chin strap is correctly positioned when it is significantly more difficult to open the mouth.
- Make sure that the straps do not run over the ears or too close to the eyes.

Cleaning & care:

We recommend regular cleaning:
- Wash by hand once a week with lukewarm water and mild detergent
- Do not use bleach
- Do not spin dry, do not tumble dry, do not iron
- Replace at least once a year if elasticity decreases
