The EMST75 Lite is a calibrated expiratory muscle trainer designed for an easy and controlled introduction to structured respiratory muscle training. The device is intended for users who require low resistance at the start of training, such as older adults, adolescents, patients, and individuals undergoing voice or swallowing therapy.
The training is based on the principle of Exspiratory Muscle Strength Training (EMST). Exhalation against a defined resistance strengthens the muscles involved in breathing and coughing. The EMST75 Lite can support breathing function, cough strength, swallowing function and voice control.
The calibrated scale (0–75 cmH₂O) allows precise adjustment and documentation of training resistance. Resistance is set using a rotary knob, ensuring reproducible and controlled training intensity.
