The PARI PEP S System is designed for secretion mobilisation in acute and chronic diseases of the lower airways. The PARI PEP S System is a respiratory therapy device for children and adults aged 4 years and over for the treatment of acute and chronic lower airway conditions and for general airway stabilisation. In children aged between 4 and 10 years, use should take place under the supervision and guidance of a qualified person. The system can be used for PEP therapy alone or in combination with inhalation therapy. The use of masks instead of the mouthpiece is not possible.
An optional combination of physiotherapy and inhalation therapy allows for time saving treatment. The following nebulisers have been tested by the manufacturer: PARI LC Plus, PARI PC Star, PARI LS Sprint, PARI LC Sprint Junior, PARI LC Sprint Star, PARI LC Sprint Compact, PARI LC Sprint SP and PARI LL.
The expiratory resistance can be freely adjusted with aperture sizes from 1.5 to 5. Adjustment of the breathing resistance and the integrated pressure indicator support correct use.
The PARI PEP S System offers significant hygienic benefits as it is dishwasher safe, boilable, chemically disinfectable and autoclavable up to 134 °C.
